Principal's Message

Mrs. Delores J. Bell comes to SPES with educating students and a focus on teaching and learning as her main priority. Her professional career began as a high school history teacher in 2000 with the Leona Group; she has held positions as a School Leader in Detroit, MI, and Assistant School Leader at South Pointe Elementary School. In every position, her approach is always student-centered for academic excellence.

Mrs. Bell’s most significant initiative is to provide the leadership that facilitates a respectful and safe school environment fostering a culture of excellence and a commitment to learning. She holds high expectations for our staff, parents, and students — as well as herself — to educate from the heart and guarantee that our students have the skills needed as life-long learners.

Mrs. Bell believes South Pointe Elementary School will not only make a difference in the community — we will BE the difference in the South Phoenix community.
