Parents and students!
I want to see you working hard at home, so please send me a picture of you working on your assignments either my text or email. I will use this to create a slideshow for our class website. Isn't digital learning just fun?
Don't forget, we have our instructional hour Monday-Thursday from 2:30pm-3:30pm. Also, assignments are updated on Scootpad DAILY. I miss you guys! Hello Families of South Pointe Elementary!
This is an email to let you know that the week of August 26-30th, we will need a 4x6 sized canvas for art. These you cal pick up at Dollar Tree in packs of four. We will be using them to understand how paint is affected by tape, stickers, and glue. If you have any questions, you can let me know this week. Thank you. Vivian Rajski SPES Teacher "Life, with its rules, its obligations, and its freedoms, is like a sonnet: You're given the form, but you have to write the sonnet yourself." — Mrs. Whatsit from A Wrinkle In Time Hello Everyone!
Just wanna get the word out that I am so excited to be planning a year of art. I have missed all the returning kiddos, and I am excited to meet the new students as well. Like your regular classroom teacher, I also have a supply list of things that would make our classroom so much better. These things are going to already be in the classroom, but it is always good to have a backup.
Can't wait to see you! Everyone! Don't forget that Wednesday the 22nd is our END OF THE YEAR PARTY!
We will be watching a movie (rated G of course) and having food and drinks. The books for the kids with the most growth in the NWEA will also be passed out that day. I am so excited! The Annual Pool Party is tomorrow! Please have your students bring in their permission slips if you haven't already. Make sure they have all the stuff that they will need for their adventure.
-Get some rest everyone! The last NWEA test is tomorrow, and it is for Language.
-Don't forget, Thursday is our Annual Pool Party. If you did not get a permission slip, or it has been misplaced, please let me know. Students will be allowed to dress down on Thursday, and you can wear your swimming suits under your clothes. You can bring your own water, so make sure to stock up so you can stay hydrated. DON'T FORGET THE SUNBLOCK! -Our diorama projects are on their way! To those that have not brought their stuff, there is still time. They are going to be sent home on Friday after school. -Next week on Wednesday, May 22nd, we are having our end of the year party. If you are able to, please provide snacks and drinks. No hot chips please. :) Don't forget that the Science Fair is tomorrow after school, from 4-6pm. If your child has done a project, please bring it in tomorrow so it can be judged and ranked. The box diorama projects on the animals is an in class project. Please have all the supplies in my classroom by Monday so we can start working on it. Thank you. Get some rest everyone! The NWEA Math Assessment is tomorrow. Your goals will be given out in the morning before we test.
The diorama packets went home. These are to tell you what we need by next Monday (5/13/19). This is our final project of the year. We will be doing it in class, so please drop the supplies off at the school. There will be a paper to accompany this diorama as well. It is the last hoorah before grades are due. |
