Attendance

Education is truly instrumental in the lives of all children. It is very important for a child to come to school everyday. Studies consistently show that school attendance is linked to school achievement. Learning builds day by day and if your child is not in school, he/she can't learn. It's that simple. Empty seats in a classroom indicate that students are missing out on learning and teachers are missing out on teaching those students.
Students must attend each day and complete all work required at a level that is acceptable by the teacher. Attendance is mandatory! Arizona State law requires 90% of the time to receive credit. If a student is absent on any day of the week, the parent/guardian is responsible for contacting the school with the reason for absence. If the student misses more than 10% of the scheduled school time, the parent/guardian will be contacted by a member of the school's administration.
